It is with great joy and thanksgiving that we prepare for the ordinations of three SVD confreres this Saturday, September 13.

Deacons Trien Nguyen SVD, Prakash Menezes SVD and Bedi Asmon SVD will be ordained to the priesthood at St Paschal's Chapel, Box Hill at 10am.

SVD Provincial Fr Henry Adler SVD said that as the men prepared for their priestly ordination, the Divine Word Missionaries give thanks to God  for them.

"We give thanks that God has called them to be missionaries and priests and we pray for them as they prepare to give themselves entirely to God and the Church," Fr Henry said.

"May the God who called them continue to sustain them and guide them in their priestly ministry."
